Brandon died after being hit by a car on Monday.

Death is hard at any time.
The death of one's own child is particularly savage.

Please remember them in whatever way is your custom.

Lord, I just can't keep from crying,
Sometimes,
No I just can't keep from crying,
Sometimes,
When my heart is full of sorrow,
My eyes begin to tear,
And I just can't keep from crying,
Sometimes.

tSi, words fail me, for once. So I let this old bluesman say what is in me, 'cos I can't.

Our family shares your pain and sorrow. Time will lessen the pain 'till it is a dull ache. But wonderful memories and stories will bring sunshine again. Just like flowers in the spring, that bloom again...the love never dies and your love is returned to you in the strangest of ways.

So for now its okay to feel everything you feel, sorrow, sadness, anger, rage...it's all natural.

Song for tSionna from Keath who died 9 April 1994 at the age of 28...

TIL MY PURPOSE HAS UNFOLDED

Though my life there may be over,
Still I have so far to go,
Til my purpose has unfolded,
My time with you will show...

OUR FAMILY IS FOREVER,
OUR LOVE WILL EVER GROW.
I'M HERE TO HELP YOU SEE AND GO
ALONG LIFE'S UNSURE ROW.

I long to share my BEING with you,
My feelings stir within my soul,
You may not understand my going on,
I chose...I longed to go!

OUR FAMILY IS FOREVER,
OUR LOVE WILL EVER GROW.
I'M HERE TO HELP YOU SEE AND GO
ALONG LIFE'S UNSURE ROW.

You may not see me but I'm with you,
Whenever things grow hard.
I long to have you listen,
And hear my words unmarred.

OUR FAMILY IS FOREVER,
OUR LOVE WILL EVER GROW.
I'M HERE TO HELP YOU SEE AND GO
ALONG LIFE'S UNSURE ROW.

Now I whisper sweetly to you,
The things you long to know.
That all is well here with me,
You'll feel the seeds I sow.

FOR OUR FAMILY IS FOREVER,
OUR LOVE WILL EVER GROW.
I'M HERE TO HELP YOU SEE AND KNOW,
MY PURPOSE...IT UNFOLDS.

~*~
May my arms enfold you in love, peace and comfort and may we cry together in our sorrow...

May you understand that death is not a separation but BEING apart...

A PART of so much more than finite understanding can comprehend.

(The one who reminded you of X-files with her stories of those in spirit and her travels on high with all her loved ones who are but a mere thought from our reality here.)

I have chills as I read the messages here. I just found out today and am so very sorry. His mission here must have been accomplished and someone else needs him now. The only thing that will ease the pain is to remember him in life. I am so sorry Shannon. May you and your family find peace at this difficult time. All of your net friends are with you in spirit - just feel the warmth of our hands around you. *tears*

My deepest sympathy, tSi. Hold to this, my friend. Remembrance conquers death and renders us all immortal. There is proof in the smiling face that appears around the corner of a stray passing thought. There is proof in the closeness that is felt, in the shared familiar places, that they walk with us still, even though their footfalls are no longer heard. There is proof in every answered prayer which we have asked them to carry to our God for us. There is proof and it will reveal. Hold to this, my friend, now is the time.

as Rogue said so well, remembrance does indeed conquer Death. Hoping that it will also help you and your family through this terrible time, help you to celebrate his life and the love you shared.

I bearly know you. But I feel your sadness, every time I read this message board. Last week I planted several Coconut Palms along the Sea Wall where my sailboat is moored. I thought the area could use a name. Brandon Grove is what we will call the stand of palms.

I am so sorry for your grief...as you can see I haven't visited the boards in quite awhile. Tsi, I really do know what you're going thru...lost our son Aaron at 17yrs....only time will help heal, until then be comforted with all the love and support of your friends and family and the beautiful memories of Brandon. My thoughts are with you

I don't read the message boards often. I just came across this today.
Thank you, my friends, for all of your love, kindness and support. I am completely overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of everyone. If there is one thing that Brandon's death has given me, it is gratitude for all the caring people in my life. Your generousity of spirit has given us the strength we've needed to survive this painful experience.
Our family is coping. Some days are worse than others and we miss him terribly. He was an amazing child with an incredible passion for life.
Thank you for your words. You are all remarkable people and I cherish your friendships. Thank you for being there.
