I was just in the guest book.
It so happens that my new email account shows the most recent delivery at the beginning of the page..
It works for me. I appreciate seeing the most recent conversation on the guest book first. I don't know if this was a design.
I looked else where on the message boards, guest book was the only one I ran, that started with the most recent log entry.
And I liked it.
You still have to scroll down to the bottom to expouse your words. It is just as well, you see the whole conversation on the way down.
Mister Inn Keeper was this your innovation or a bug?

The reverse order in the guestbook is by design.
( A bug madam? Kindly walk along this plank!)

I know that some boards and even some chats work in reverse chronological order. I find that style hard to follow.
I tried it in the guestbook as generally, a guestbook does not hold conversations. (But in Tír, of course, that does not always hold true :)

You are right of course. We wouldn't want to befuddle the comon folk at the Inn. Converstions around here are confusing enough as it is.

Keelhawling was the punishment for seamen that were imperinent. The crew member was tied with a hemp line around his waist and dragged under the sailboat while they were under way. Barnacles are as sharp and foul as anything produced by nature. If the sailor didn't drown he was scared for life with the cuts and abrasions that slowly healed while he carried out his daily duties during his watch.
This would leave most men to hold the tongue when they had something to say.

You'll have to swim very fast to catch me.
