Tonight in TirnanOg chat, I was fortunate enough to spend time with chatting at length with Lacie. After a discussion about TirnanOg history, Lacie suggested that we attempt another 'reunion' chat gathering within the green and pleasant walls of the nOg.
Previously our timing with these gatherings has been shocking and although we had a number come through looking for each other, we all seem to miss at the critical time!
Sooooo....Lacie has suggested we try again, and make it at 7pm New Zealand Standard time on Saturday 5th May (NZ). Which will be Friday night for you American lot, and breakfast time Saturday morning for the UK/Ireland bunch.

So there y'have it guys n' gals...For those of you struggling with the newness SL Tir, this should be an opportunity to connect again in the auld way, involving a vat of stoli and a vat of red jello (I know nothing about this, so it may pay to bring your swimming breeches and a nice fluffy towel to pat yourself dry at the end of it all!)

Hi Cuchulainn...don't think we've met before. In explanation, "SL" is "Second Life". You will not need to worry about SL for the chat reunion if you are intending to be there. Just bowl into the main chat room at the appropriate time and date, and with a bit of luck you may strike many of your old pals!
Second Life is an alternative TirnanOg which Accasbel has created for us within the realm of "Second Life". You can read more about it by navigating to the General tab on Messageboard, and go to the bottom of page where "Second Life Tir" is listed, then once on that page, click on the link which Accasbel has placed there.

There are a handful of us inhabiting the new Tir, but a number who are yet to fledge for various reasons...system too slow to handle the graphics, feeling uncomfortable with the newness, unable to co-ordinate movement of avatar, etc...
