hi. i'm a new fan so i'm really wet behind the ears...my distant relatives just showed me a family crest or is that a "coat of arms" and i'm really fascinated because i was just told that we can trace some of our roots in ireland... can anyone tell me how to say "i love you" at least in irish gaelic? how about "HELLO" and "TAKE CARE" and "THANK YOU?" thanks a lot!!! or is there a good irish saying that i can memorize? weehee! thanks a lot

Tá grá agam ort = I love you (literally "There is love with me on you"). Phonetically: taw graw a-gum urt.
Tá grá mór agam ort = I love you madly
Most greetings and farewells in Irish are blessings of one kind or another.
Hello is usually given as Dia dhuit = God be with you (jee-a gwitch). The closest to "take care" is "Tóg go bog é" = take it softly (Togue guh bug ay (ay as in day)).
Thank you = Go raibh maith agat (may you have goodness) (Guh rev moh a-gut).
Btw, Aislin (or Aislinn) in Irish means "dream or vision" and is pronounced ash-ling.

No, TAW is pronounced as in FLAW.
It's not so much that your name has a meaning in Irish; it is an Irish name, but normally spelt with a double "n".
"Dia dhuit" is used as a greeting. The usual farewell is "slán" [slawn], meaning "health."
