You are welcome. BTW Why not sign up for an account? It is free, and it doesn't cost much either.

Hi everyone,

I'm a little confused because I found different
translations for
trust - diseacht agus
faithfulness-cairdeas

are there different translations for trust, faith and confidence

and faithfulness,loyality and fidelity,

I ask because I would like to create a tattoo including the words and it would be pretty bad to have not the meaning I expected. The problem is that we have only one word in German for it but in English there are more and I don't know how it is in Gaelic,so I have to ask again, I'm sorry!

But thanks in advance
Daniela

muinín/iontaoibh - trust,
creideamh - Belief/Faith
cairdeas - Friendship
dílseacht - Loyalty

You may need someone to verify these.
I'm sure there are more than enough experts lurking around Tir.
